Willow - Willow won't say it but she is super proud of Star these days. She feels Star has come a long way since Willow first came here. Being similar teenage girls, she knows that Star has her back and they have similar interests/train of thought so Willow genuinely likes being around Star and hanging out with her. They're friendsisters. The thing is Star is incredibly social and Willow (hilariously, even in canon) is not. So sometimes Willow isn't sure about intruding on what might be Star's time with other people. It's okay in the dorm, but outside, she's a little wary of monopolizing her team.

Overall, Star is her bro. BROOO.

Gladiolus - Honestly, he just sort of recognizes that she needs someone to have her back and he's more than willing to do that, whether he agrees or not. He was, in a way, very annoyed about how she was treated (though he'll never . . . show . . . it) and would definitely keep tabs on her more often just to see that she gets to express her own opinion and decisions without being jumped on. And if it happened, she would have his unconditional support.

She's also funny.
