He likes them overall.

HOWEVER, they believe in concepts that are still pretty alien to him, like family and heroism. Yuri may act selflessly, but he'll never say or claim to be a hero and he finds it very hard to express his feelings. So those ideals in a team make him a little . . . jittery, for lack of a better word. It catches him off-guard and he doesn't know what to say about them beyond "I'm new, I don't really care."

Which isn't true but it just makes it easier for him and not have to struggle through expressing why and how he feels that way.
